Youth Basketball of Bangladesh (YBB) was created in association with Youth Basketball of America (YBOA) to inspire more young male and female players to learn the game with proven training techniques and develop skills. Our core aims include arranging tournaments, providing training in skills development and fundamental drills, supporting coaches’ training, and offering opportunities to youngsters, all of which focus on the health and well-being of young people to enhance enjoyment, participation, and development in basketball. YBB supports youngsters from schools by providing instructional basketball guides and materials to the players, parents, and coaches. In addition, since 2014, YBB has hosted more than sixteen major national events jointly with YBOA. YBB distributes balls, organizes skills competitions, and hosts recognition programs featuring current and former players and coaches. This program emphasizes the values of a game by stressing sportsmanship, teamwork, a positive attitude, leadership, and respect. YBB wants to help Bangladeshi boys & girls become international players and brighten Bangladesh's image through basketball worldwide. For these reasons, we need more supportive hands to ensure the development of basketball in our country.
